Lavender patchwork

Hello everyone!

I hope you are doing great!
I've been really busy, so here is a nail art from the vault! I think I did this 1 year and a half ago!

I started by one coat of a lavender franken I made from Seche - Blanc & China Glaze - Avalanche.
Then I did random white stripes with Seche - Blanc which I covered later with a stamping from the stamping plate m57 and the lavender franken.

I added the purple stripes using Debby - Color Play 91 and I stamped the previous design in random parts of the nails with Gosh - Purple Heart.
I finished by applying some little flower stickers and my topcoat! :)

I remember this was quite long to do but I think it was worth it ;)
I was inspired by the talented nekonotsume for this mani, check her blog out!

Let me know if you like this design ;)

a little bow...

Hello everyone!

I hope you are doing great! I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday but I went fishing the razor shell so I knew it would be a waste of time to do my nails before that! Hey, did I talk about summer activities? Yes summer finally arrived here! I put my bikini for the first time of the year but I burned my back :/

But sun also means holo polish for me! So I decided to put my favorite nail polish! Yes the one I would go back for if my house was on fire!

And this nail polish is.... OPI - DS Extravagance! Can you realize I spent  22$ on that ON SALE? Prices are pretty crazy here in Europe.

After I applied two coats of it, I decided to stamp a little bow to decorate my nails a little more. I love the fact that I can still appreciate the polish underneath. I used Konad special white and the Big plate A. The design can be found on the stamping plate m76 also.

My nails are pretty much too long right now but I'm lazy and I don't want to cut them because that means I would need to shape them. I never know if they are symmetrical or not when I file them :/

Anyway I hope you liked this mani and this gorgeous nail polish!

I hope you have sun too! <3

Trendy Geometric Design!

Hi everyone!

Today I'm gonna show you some nails I did in the middle of May! I didn't have my blog yet, but I thought the design was worth pics!

I was scrolling trough pinterest when I discovered this design by the talented Madeline Poole. I fell in love with this design and wasn't able to imagine other colors than the ones she used and get the same effect! I even mixed different polishes to get the particular shades of Madeline Poole's mani.

So I started applying two coats of China Glaze - First Mate (you see it a lot on my blog!) for 3 nails and two coats of Gosh - Fossil Grey for 2 nails.

Then I applied some tape in the diagonal of my nail to make the checkered pattern with Sally Hansen - Blush & Gosh - Fossil Grey for the blue based nails. For the other nails the checkered pattern is done with an anonymous burgundy & China Glaze - First Mate.

I freehanded the ruffian styled stripped with an anonymous red & Wet'n Wild - Black Crème topped with China Glaze - Senorita Bonita (for the blue based nails). For the other nails I used a green mix and again Wet'n Wild Black Crème ;)

I hope you liked this mani, I really did!
I find this design really classy, innovative, elegant.  So thank you Madeline Poole for this amazing inspiration you give us!

xoxo

Then I applied Nail Venturous - Floam in a gradient design, and I created a zigzag design for the accent  nail!

I hope you like it!

Native American like?

Hello!

I hope you are doing great! Today I'm gonna show you a nail art I did on my cousin's nails while she was here!

I really love the style and the combo of color! I really don't know if it is really comparable, but it reminds me of native american art.

For this design I started with two coats of China Glaze - Fast Track. Thank you Raphaelle for letting me use your polish before you can finally get it!

Then I painted the brown parts with E. Pinaud - Chocolat, and the teal parts with Fashion Make-Up - n°06.

I used a little art brush, a dotting tool and OPI - Alpine Snow for the details.

I hope you liked this mani, my cousin was happy and me jealous of course! :P

Let me know if you like it!

14th of July Nails!

Hello!

I hope you are having a good day :)

Today is the French National Day! I took a lot of time to think about what my nails should look like, but I wasn't inpired by the flag. I imagined a manicure with the important events celebrated but it was complicated and finally I was almost sure it would be messy, not aesthetic.

So I went simpler and I'm really satisfied with how it came out!

I used a lot of polishes to do this nail art!

I began with a gradient using:
a mix of an anonymous red polish, OPI - We have a purple, China Glaze - Papaya punch
OPI - Alpine Snow
Sephora - Jacuzzi Bubbles
China Glaze - Rodeo Fanatic
Wet'n Wild - Black Crème

Then I freehanded the Eiffel Tower silhouette with WW - Black Crème.

The fireworks are made using Layla Cosmetics - Mercury Twilight, or Orly - Rock It (+ MT), or Nail Venturous - Floam (+ MT).

I hope you like this nail art as much as I do, I really like the fact that for a National Day design, I went original and cute!

Then I realized that my nails were the same exact color than one of my tees! I'll be wearing it today ;)

Did you liked that design? Are you doing french nails for today?

Happy polishing!

NOTD: skin & sizzle

Hello!

Today I'll show you quite modern nails!

This super holo mani features Layla Cosmetics - Mercury Twilight! I used two pieces of striping tape for every nail to leave some space just with basecoat and I freehanded the black lines with Wet n Wild - Black Crème ;)

I love Mercury Twilight, this polish is an impressive holo polish! I wanted my nail art to stay uncluttered so that I could enjoy the holo effect. I also wanted to experience more the fact to leave a part of the real nail visible :)

Did you like this mani? Or is this too modern for your taste?
I think I might prefer black framed holo nails, so I might try that soon!

Happy polishing!

Gold & Peach

Hi everyone!

Today I have a delicate mani to show you! It is based on what my cousin asked me to do on her nails, and because it involved by recent lemming acquisition I had to do them on me too!

Here you can see two coats of China Glaze - Peachy Keen with a pinch of gold glitter thrown on still wet clear polish.

I've wanted Peachy Keen since a long time but I had bought what looked like a dupe in the bottle, but was almost neon once applied: Revlon Peachy! I was really disapointed with the Revlon but didn't wanted to spend money again on my real lemming, til June this year. This time I am very happy with the peach polish I got! And I was able to sell the Revlon (that I never used), yay!

I hope you liked the mani, my cousin and I were really happy to wear this design! :)
Let me know what you think ;)

My mani for the 4th!

Hi everyone!

Maybe you noticed I wasn't really present this week for my blog. As you may know, my cousin from RI is in France this week so we were out all the week. So I didn't have time to you my 4th of July mani!

I was really excited to do this design with different hands! :)

For every hand I started with two coats of OPI - Alpine Snow. I just got it this week and it is a dream to apply!

Then I freehanded the lining of the stars with China Glaze - First Mate and a tiny art brush, and filled in directely with the brush from the polish bottle.

For my left hand I used tape but wasn't really happy, the lines are not as straight as I wanted, so using tape wasn't worth it. The red nail polish is anonymous.

The last picture was taken into my sister's Instagram ;)

I hope you liked this mani, I'm still wearing it because I like it a lot! :)

Have a wonderful day! <3

My June (American) Haul!

Hi girls!

When on Monday my cousin arrived from the states I felt like I needed to make a post showing all I got and how much I spent money on polishes in June, I need to stop now!

Look at all of this!

13€90 = 17$50

Obviously, living in France, I had to get myself a bottle of Black Spotted!

6€ = 7$50

I met a girl from a local pre-owned fashion fb group, and she was selling those OPIs that she never really wore. Deal! I now own Jade is the new black  and  Hot & Spicy.

34€ = 42$80

Here is what I got at Sephora's sale! It really was a score, everything was 70% off! The Skull & Glossbones bottle broke on the way back home, it was never impacted though so it might have been thrown on the store floor before... You can see here two DS Extravagance, and the others are Houston we have a purple , Dutch 'ya just love OPI? , I have a herring problem , Skull & Glossbones , and the Pirates of Carribean minis.

Now here is my american haul, thank you Camie for bringing them here!

40$? (=32€)

Look at these pretty bottles! I acquired them with the help of three girls from my birthday group! Yezenia ordered Laylas and I ask her if she could get me the silver one: Mercury Twilight! Rachel from Australia was having a blog sale and I felt in love with Hits - Cancan!

15$ + 5$50 = 12€ + 4€50

These are my Amazon orders! I've been lemming Peachy Keen for a long time! :)
Sadly there's a red angel plate missing... Did that ever happened to you?

30$ = 24€

Here is what I was able to acquire thanks to the lovely Genny! I asked that woman if she would be kind enough to let me use her professional sell price for some nail polishes and she accepted! Thank you again Genny!

GIFTS + (red magnet: 8€ = 10$)

Here is some gifts I received this month! :)
The lovely Dana, who had the travelling polish before me added Orly - Butterfly! She is so sweet!
My sister gave me the anonymous polishes on the middle and the sample of Sephora's nail wraps :)
I traded the China Glaze - You move me for a manicure with the mother of a friend who runs a shop for beauty professionnals. I also bought the magnet but it doesn't look good anymore: it took a bath of acetone :/

10€ = 12$

My friend Raphaelle who is in London as a "fille au pair" for the Summer bought me these in exchange of some polishes I ordered for her from Genny. I'll get Accessorize - Pink Spice and Max Factor - Fantasy Fire when she'll come back! :)

So I spent 144€50 = 182$ during June! Whaaaaaat!?! I was aware it was a lot but not thaat much! I'm surely going on a slow buy this month and the other! Oh and I remember I have ordered that Dollish Polish...

I authorize myself:
-that gold/green magntic from Claire's if it's on sale
-OPI - You're a doll
-Color Club - Wild at Heart
-China Glaze Fairy Dust
-3 Bundle Monster plates if I can do a custom order
-Once upon a polish
-the birthday group gift ;)

Watch me!

Pink gradient with black & white glitter

Hi everyone!

Here is a mani I made yesterday (when I had my camera with me it was already night so I wasn't able to take pics)!

When I discovered Lynnderella - Connect the Dots it was already hard to get, since it's the only nail polish that I wanted for her, I just dreamed that I could have it someday but I didn't wanted to get involved in any drama! And then, in January or February, a friend of mine was choosed in the Llarowe's lottery and she generously offered me to order it for me! (Thank you again!)
Nowadays, there is a lot of drama going on but everyone has his opinions about it, and I'm here to talk you about the polish, not the one who makes it! ;)

For this mani I put two coats of OPI - Sparrow me the Drama, then I shaded it into Rimmel - .
Then I applied one generous coat of Lynnderella - Connect the Dots.

I hope you like this mani! I feel like there's something wrong... Maybe it's too messy? What do you think?

xoxo
