Dream Catcher! Final of My Favorite Things Nail Challenge: Favorite Mani!

Hello everyone!

Long time no see! I'm sorry I've been busy this week because I'll be back to school in 2 hours!
I'm feeling lazy ><

BUT today I've got some badass nails for you! I'm showing you the latest mani of My Favorite Things Nail Challenge: MY FAVORITE MANI! (right now?)

I did these nails with the home made decals technique ;)

My background color is OPI - Skull & Glossbones (2 coats).
I freehanded the feathers using China Glaze - Purrfect Plum , Rouge Baiser - Gris Lavande, OPI - Fly , OPI - Did it On'Em , and OPI - Alpine Snow.
I outlined with Wet'n Wild - Black Crème.

These nails were inspired by the accent nails on this mani by Astro Wifey (which is SO talented!).
Do you like them? I'll never want to take them off !! :D

From the Vault Peacock

Hi!

Today I'm showing you some nails from the vault! I've been really busy packing and cleaning my appartment for the summer (we rent it to a friend). Yesterday I was officially on vacation because we projected our short film (link if you want to see it). So I had a lot of things to do and no time to do my nails before tonight!

The mani I'm showing you was made in September 2011! I followed a video from Robin Moses to achieve the look:

The base color is Confetti - Moonstruck. I used Seche - Blanc for the white, Stargazer - 237 for the gold (mixed with a black nail polish to get the dark bronze color).

I used a lot of blue and green nail polishes to make a gradient, mix them to get the colors I wanted: Wet'n Wild - Wild Shine -Caribbean Frost , China Glaze - First Mate,  Biguine Makeup - Gloss & Shock - Dark Green and an unnamed "bambou green" by Modelite.

I added glitter to the feathers with a nail polish packed with gold and hex holo glitters from a Love & Beauty Set (from Forever 21 last summer).

I hope you liked this mani, I was really in love! For my right hand what I did was feathers for every nail. I remember I kept this mani 10 days!
